[T3] Rubber reconditioning and axle beam question

        Hello list!
    Does anybody have any hints for restoring hardened, grimy rubber so its 
deep black and smooth again?  Is there any product out there that can do 
that?  Right now I'm working on my front suspension and would like to get the 
bumb stops and mounting collars looking good again.
    Also, when I get ready to reinstall the (hopefully) good as new axle 
beam,  is there anything other than the specific tightening sequence that 
should be done to insure proper alignment of the axle beam to the rest of the 
car?
