well
i thought i had a t1 pump fitted as it happens it is an original t3 one
i regularly get on the a/bahn here in germany route 7 between hannover and
hamburgh and cruise at 90mph no problems i have allso done exactly the same
with a t1 pump fitted it may all boil down to how your engine is set up and
how rich it is running .
personally i allways stay as lean as possible and petrol recordings
show an average of 30-35mpg (english) this is testement that i am erring on
the side of lean rather than rich but it makes power this way!
my head temp gauge is my gaurdian angle and i have learnt to read this
and what is normal for it to show!!
i think my deep sump extension is also a god send and one of the best
value for money add ons you can get !
with no oil filter an extra 1 1/2 liters of oil has got to aid in the
cooling .
basically i think it boils down to the state of tune as to weather a t1
pump will be ok i have never had any problems with either .
i agree with jim and steve it is volume that will matter not pressure!!
neil verdon 66 sqr on irs pan
best among equals rise to the top.
