I just got a new one for our 72 Squareback for $180 installed. I shopped around and most used glass was delaminating. The new windshields you could get you had to drive for a couple of hours because they didn't ship. I checked around the local wrecking yards and found one that just did glass. They ordered one for me overnight. Give it a try, what can you loose.
