This just doesn't seem right... -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- I had this when I installed my Bugpack header. Paint was the stuff burning and causing the smell. The gaskets did not burn away until 2 weeks later. You got to understand I drive alot , like 125+ miles a day for the past two years on this car. I still have not learned my lesson on keeping speed down (cannot still go below 80). I tell you this because my engine componets are used to the max it can handle and the asbestos gaskets you got burned away several times on my car. I even used the sandwiched metal and asbestos gaskets you are using now but I killed those too; the asbestos material burned away and left a very thin piece of corroded sheetmetal. After much frustration, I purchased a set of bugpack thick pure copper gaskets and never looked back. I had these since December of last year.
