Can i put in a oil breather strait to heads, (also pluged > both w/hose and bolts) Did the FI engine w/heads have "breather" holes > that I'm seeing, work for back preassure? The 72-3 FI engines had a different breather that really won't work very well with your conversion. What you really need is the 68-71 breather box that has a dedicated outlet to feed to the air cleaner. The 72-3 heads originally had rocker box breathers which drew air from the air cleaner, but your heads have probably been replaced with the more common early parts. The combination leaves you with no breather at all and this leads to the problems you're having. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
