Hello All, I finally got a chance to go over to the garage that i mentioned in an earlier email and check out the parts stash, and go through everything and see what i could possibly sell. So this is the run down on what i found that jumped out at me.... seven fuel injection brains (3 rebuilds from bosch never used since rebuild and 4 used but working) I can give part numbers if requested. two working pressure sensors new 1600 vw crank(from the early 70's) Early type3 exhaust (new but a good bit of surface rust from setting in the basement) Early type3 front drum brake pads, one complete set, one half set (these have been relined) Early style type3 tail light lenses (brand new but no boxes) Brand new type3 oil cooler (still in packaging) These are just a few things and i stress a few things. This guy has just about everything that you would need from wheel bearings to rebuild kits for master cylinders to Engine bearings ect. ect.... Most of this stuff is from the late 60's to early 70's in original vw boxes. He has more beetle and bus parts then type3 but i know that some things are interchangeable. If you know of them and are looking for a particular part please contact me directly. Also if you beetle drivers are out there looking, again contact me directly. I know this email should be posted in the classified section but i wanted to follow up on my previous email to let you all know how things went. As far as prices i need to know how much you would be willing to pay so i then know how much i should offer the guy at the shop when i buy the part from him. I think i will buy as i am requested for parts, that way i don't pay to much for a particular item and get stuck with it. So that's about it. I plan on taking some pictures of his shop and all of his parts and putting them on a web page. As i said before, this place is like a time capsule and should be at least documented in some way. Thanks for listening to all of my ramblings and look forward to helping out who i can. On a side note, after months of working on my 71 squareback. Getting her ready for state inspection, she passed and is now being driven daily by my lovely wife Monica. She loves the car and thanks all of you for your help! : В ) Pease all, jesse 71 fi squareback ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
