I have just read through the owner's manual for my 73, and there are no description of the different cars, other than where necessary in the technical datas. It can look like the car described as the "Variant II" is a 1600 A with either 1500 or 1600 cc engine, swingaxles and bare-bones interior. The "II" could carry 90 kgs more stuff and ran on 8PR tires vs. 6PR on the "I" and 4PR on the Notch and Fast. It is also a big possibility that the "II" had the big 4-pot brake calipers that are found on Swedish market 73's, due to the increased payload. This is what I could find from my owner's manual.
