I agree with Jim about finding a manual. Unfortunately, the Bentley is NFG for carbs. Haynes are still published, and the Clymer is readily available at used sources (such as http://www.powellsbooks.com ). Pull out the idle jet and take a look. This is the circuit your looking for. The other end of the fuel path is in the throttle plate. This is where the idle air screw does it's thing. Pull the carb off the manifold to take a look Can you compare the left operation with the right? How do the chokes compare? Are both sides squirting gas when you blip the throttle? Are the linkages at the throttle butterflies both returning to the dead stops? As far as I know, only the left carb has a vacuum port on PDSIT-32's. Before the problem, did you set the dwell and adjusted the timing at idle OK? Before you try balancing carbs you should adjust the valves first.
