Hey! I think I know. That must be a chopped -69 built by a guy named Per Hallgren in Hagfors, Sweden. The engine is a mid-mounted SAAB 900 2 litre if I recall. I bought some stuff from this guy recently and spoke with him a while about this car. He still uses it for summer driving. He told me that he had the roof cut up i 46 pieces (!), and welded together again to make it look right. Not to menton the glass work, and all the work with the subframe and transmission stuff... The car is absolutely awesome. I think it was built in the late 80-s and was covered in VW Trends about that time. I know I have that issue somewhere in my pile of junk... /Karl-Olov Sandin -73 Squareback …rnskšldsvik, Sweden > -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- > FrŚn: Phillip Bradfield [mailto:phillip@volkshaus.com] > Skickat: den 10 januari 2001 07:15 > Till: type3@vwtype3.org > €mne: [T3] Cool Square > > > Hey Darksiders, > > Check this out: > > http://www.volkshaus.com/typ3_mantorp99/ > > Any idea what kind of motor that is?
