Good goin'. These are exactly the kinds of problems that are common and good examples of low-tech, common sense fixes. I see a lot of these which have been put on and I always take them off if I have the chance. The D-Jet FI is not bothered by air leaks here unless the leak is big enough that you can't adjust the idle.
