[T3] IRS problem (and I don't mean taxes)

My rear IRS suspension was making this "Clunk clunk" noise when ever I went
over a bump on the Right side.
I replaced the support arm screw which wasn't OEM (thanks Dave Buckholts) ,
and my mechanic found a loose damper screw.
But, I still have the noise , my rear is way sagged , could the torsion bar
be at it's life end?
I have a spare back axle, but was hoping to wait with the replacement a
little longer.
