Hi Jason, Did you live in Newport (Gwent) some years ago? If so, you could get all sorts of inspiring info for repairing and renovating the Fastback in the club's Technical manual, which wasn't available when you joined many years ago. Of course, it isn't only available to owners in Newport (Gwent or even RI); anyone can get one now I've had some more printed. There's even a copy just off to NZ (a bit late - the printers did the single sided pages back to back!). How about going to Germany for 26-28 of August to the giant Type 3 meeting the German Typ3 IG is organising - bound to be around 80 to 100 Type 3s there? It was 40 years ago the model was launched at Frankfurt, so they are meeting about 40km NE of Frankfurt, at Lissberg (actually it's a bit more than 40 km, but that doesn't sound quite as romantic!)
