Hi all, I recently puchaced some highly polished 2ltr alloys and I want to detail them in black. When I bought them they were covered in polish to stop them tarnishing as the anodising was removed when they were restored. What would be the best way to remove all the polish? Tinners, White spirit etc? As I cant see what I'm removing so I dont want to paint them only to find it all flakes off in a matter of weeks because ive missed some spots.
