Checking the diagram, I agree, sleeping only. At 6' I have slept in the back of my Sqbk a few times. It worked for kayak adventure trips and bad weather sleeping. With a few pads, the front seats pushed forward before closing the door, one can get plenty of room without the fancy hinges. They would look good on a shelf however, but not at $52.
