Jim , I think you got your wires crossed ,the master cylinder is attached to the pan , but the reservoir with it's pipes are attached to the body. My big question would be do you need to move it once you get the body off the pan? Because if he does then he might want to look at putting some wheels(casters) on his platform to assist in moving it . Personally all I've ever had to remove (when lifting off a body) is the rear bumper and the rear fenders , and the hood (for 3points of lifting). I prefer to leave the doors on,so the body doesn't twist due to excess rust.
