if i remember correctly the swaybar is built into the type 3 beam. like most vw suspensions it should work well for autocrossing with little need for mods. and the bounus is the type 3 has more neutral handling than say a beetle(with its rep for oversteering). you really dont even need to do much to the engine. one thing that might help is lowering the car a little. and putting GOOD TIRES on it. get good performance radials that will will fit if your not using race tires another thing that helps is cranking your camber out(i.e. the tops of the wheels are closer in than the bottoms). thats what commonly called a race alignment __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
