It's just as tight, right? > Because, once you have reached torque, you do not want to back off from that point. Backing off to the hole, releases some of that torque. A little bit over torque will not hurt. Because of the arraignment of the cross drilled holes in the axle shaft, you should never have to go more than about 1/3 of a hole to get alignment.
