It's definitley the way to go if you're not a "purist". I love it ! can't say enough about it ! I haven't run an aux. oil cooler (oil temps stayed low) And the engine is just LOADS of fun. Second gear starts are no problem -first gear is about useless.....unless you want to wear out your rear tires quickly ;D I'm in the process of building a 2.6l for my bug right now - can't wait.
