The stud for the oilcooler w/accompanying case threads for the type3 case has only 6 mm threads, where the type1 has 8 mm threads. This gave me a headache when installing a new universal case in my car. An older type1 case can be 6 mm to though, cant remember now. Have to check in the garage for that.
