The most common ones are called "Porshe 2 litres", a bit like (!?) the Fuch wheels but in a four bolt pattern. They were optionnal on Porshes 914 (same bolt pattern as type3's). You'll find also "Pedrinis" wheels, and "Mahle, Gas Burners" that were also made for 914's. They all fit the type3 quite well. Look at the gallery on vwtype3.org for some pictures.
