RE: [T3] carb size question (stroker)

I have 40 Dells on my 90.5x78 with an engle 125 (301ยก) cam. 40x35.5 heads
with worked ports and 3 angle valve job. No problems at all. Certainly
doesn't run out of breath!!

It's the venturi size that matters more than the throttle bore. Mine have
34mm venturii.

Hope this helps!

Subject: [T3] carb size question (stroker)

Im ordering the heads, crank, and rods tomorrow----- i already have a nice
set of 40 dells (thanks to kinny, if you are reading this).......im thinking
of going 74 by 94, is this enough carb for this size motor or should i stick
with 74 by 90.5?? id really like the larger crank or should i forget about
it with these sized carbs??

also im going with the CB's 044 magnum plus's, the only difference between
those and the competition heads is the 3 angle valve job, although your
sacrificing the full port and polish along with price difference, even
though u can add on the port and polish on the competitions for another
hundred, to get to the point here, what benefits are their from a 3 angle
valve job??

thanks

Seth
