<x-charset iso-8859-1>I wasn't specifically referring to your car, although your ad has the attributes I mentioned. I've noticed other "1965 Fastbacks" mentioned on the Type 3 Detectives site in the past as well as other people stating their Type 3 has a "Freeway Flier" tranny. I would be curious to know the VIN # of your '65 Fastback as my records indicate: 2 August, 1965 - Fastback Sedan 1600 TL Start of production with chassis # 316 000 001 Regards, Everett everettb@thesamba.com http://www.thesamba.com > That is my fastback that you are referring to on thesamba.com. It has porsche > rear disc brakes and I had them all 4 rotors drilled for porsche 5 lug > pattern. There were a few of the 65 fastbacks to sneak across the assembly > line. Many of them are recognized as 66s though. I just bought a 66 fast as > well and am noticing slight differences. The 65 is on a 67??? square pan. It > is cherry.
