Re: [T3] Type 3 Parts

<x-flowed>I ordered a set of KYB shocks for my 97 Golf from them.
They came in about a week and were the correct ones.
I had no problem with them.

As always, my apologies if this has been mentioned previously, but...
I was searching for some parts for my wife's Volvo
and came across the following web site that I thought may
have some value for some of the group:
http://catalog.thepartsbin.com/

Select your "year" and "Make",
e.g. "1971", "Volkswagen parts" hit the search button.
It will then give you 5 links:

General Purpose
Type 1 59-79
Type 2 60-79
Type 3 66-73
Type 4 70-74

It appears that some of their links are wrong, some of their
prices questionable, e.g. Under Fuel Delivery, Fuel Hose,
They have a list price of $5.80 but their price is $55.06?
I haven't ordered anything from them - that's my caveat but
they do have a link to the better business bureau that claims
they are reputable.

Additionally, they don't have those "hard to find parts"
that was recently a thread in this list.

Yet, they appear to have good prices on some common items.
At least they're cheaper than my flaps. I will be using them
come next tune-up time - unless I get replies telling me stories
of poor service and wrong parts. I can already get that at my flaps.

Lastly, they say they have the Bentley service manual on sale at 20-40% off:
