All I did was buy CB Performance roto-hub kit for IRS Beetle and bolted it onto by fasty. E-brake cables that come with the kit are too short, so I just rigged my existing cables to the caliper lever. I was worried about front/back balance, but upon driving the car for the first time down the gravel driveway, I locked up the brakes and the fronts locked first. I did not change master cylinders or install a bias valve. I did install CB's stainless steel brake hoses. I am very happy with four wheel disc brakes and it was easy. I hope this clears things up a bit, but my car is not a daily driver, so I don't know if that makes a difference. Maybe I should research a different master cylinder, but I am not concerned at this point. Although, I would like to find a vacuum assist master cylinder so I could have power brakes. Sorry I am so late with this response, but I no longer have internet access at home and I am only working three days a week, thanks to the dreaded economy.
