<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hi all, Looks like I need to drop my engine as number3 has only 80PSI while 1,2&4 have 120-130 (thanks Jim for suggesting I check it). Also the noise coming from the vicinity of 3 when hard accelerating or pulling away hard is getting worse and I'm afraid to drive it anymore. I'm really scared what I'll find- possibly need a new head, maybe a stripped out stud or 2, maybe need a new cylinder etc. What I need to know is if anyone knows off-hand what size the torx nuts are for the CV joints- I plan to drop it with tranny attached- I've tried a 40- it seems almost right but quite sloppy. Is it a 45? Also the bolts themselves seem to have 12 splines? Will a 6 spline driver work OK? Also if I need to fix a pulled stud, I've heard mention of "case saving studs"- anyone know where to get them in UK? and are they universally approved of? Or should I just use Helicoils?
