<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hi all, Today I took out the wiper motor and assembly, cleaned it up, oiled it, greased it etc. and now it spins merrily when I turn it on with only a little squeak from somewhere I apparently forgot to grease. The problem is . . . . . I don't know how to get it back into the car! I thought I had installed it, but the actuator arms jammed against the fresh air tubes (or whatever they are) and it kept blowing fuses until I took it out again. They also snagged on the glove box latch. Is the assembly supposed to be above the fresh air tubes? If so, how on earth do you get it up there? If not, what was I doing wrong? Should I take the fresh air tubes out before I install the wiper assembly? I know I should have looked more carefuly before I took it out, but well, I'll know for next time.
