Just hit the drum with a torch, heating up the area just outside of the hub/drum boundary. Go around and around, being careful NOT to spray in the lug bolt holes which can bake the brake parts. After about 3-5 minutes of this the drum will expand and come loose. Sometimes it will just pop off, so you may need to be careful that a hot drum doesn't try to jump into your lap! 8-0 You don't need to get it red hot, or anything close. Just warmed up a few hundred degrees or so. - Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
