hello. i have running on a brass t on top of my oil cooler an oil temp sending unit and a duel vdo pressure sender for idiot light and actual pressure. my oil temp on a long trip at 90 mph = 80c (head temp 350 slightly higher up hill). i think my deap sump contributes to my nice low oil temp i am thinking of putting a coat on it for the winter actually so i dont run to cold and adjusting my air flaps to the tighter side so i get a nice quick warm up! my oil pressure is good at speed but i must admit the gauge reads only 8 psi at idle but at the oil cooler im not too worried as its at its highest point there and all downhill after that so i beleive this to be the best place as it gives a slight advantage over the t1 location as it is closer to the bearings where the oil is needed . neil verdon 66 sqr on irs pan best among equals rise to the top. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
