No, I haven't, unless there is a problem somewhere. If the generator 
voltage fell to something like 11V that would just put something like 
1.5V across the lamp. I don't think that would show up, even at 
night. I know the 12V bulbs glow yellow and dim with 6V across 
them, but I don't think even 3V would show up thru the filter of the 
instrument face. Just guessing here, I've not tried it.
