Actually since the car still has the frame horns from the swing axle you dont need to weld in all of the other brackets, or use the hanger from an IRS car. I have a 65 fastback which I had the IRS suspension brackets welded in. The only thing is you have to kinda hammer the ridge on the horns to get them in there correct location. I am currently running IRS in it but could go back to swing axle whenever I feel like it. I like having the option of running whatever style of transmission I want.
