My '69 fasty had wide five wheels on it when I bought it. The PO had
just installed early wide five drums ('65 I think) on the rear, and
shaved a little off the backside of the wheel adapters on the front.
He only shaved enough to clear the calipers, just at the tip of the
adapters. I drove it this way for awhile untill I decided to do the
4wheel disc brake/late model Porsche wheel upgrade this last winter.
I believe you can even still buy new early drums for the rear.
