Check the charging system voltage. Measure the voltage across 
the battery with the engine warm and running at medium rpm; it 
should be 14.1-14.4V. If it is less than 13.5V replace the voltage 
regulator with a genuine Bosch regulator. Low system voltage 
makes this FI run rich, which would give the symptoms you 
describe.
