I've used several things for this kind of service, but the best I have found is a cheap Sears 12V charger. I think it is just a 4A/8A version, but on the low setting the charge current (into a charged up battery) is low enough that it could be left on indefinitely. They are a lot cheaper than $60. Another way to approach this is to use any old charger and hook it up via a lamp timer set to run 1 hour a day. I don't know if Sears still has any 6V/12V chargers, but it would be worth checking out. - Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
