This comes out of the 'Scientific' Aussie manual, as much as I can remember: Remove the long links from the bell crank to the individual carbs. Back the throttle stop screws right off. Now put a 2 thou feeler gauge between the throttle stop screw & the throttle plate & tighten the screw till it just touches. Now turn each throttle stop screw in 2 full turns. Screw the idle mixture screws in (completely) & then out 1¸ turns. Start the motor & get it to operating temp (you will have to put the long links back & take them off again to do this) Now you need a dwell meter/tacho which you connect up to the coil. Now you slowly adjust each carb idle mixture screws to get it running at a steady 8-900 rpm idle. You have to fiddle with the mixture carefully on each carb individually. They maintain that High rpm balance is not so critical due to the balance tube across the carbs. I haven't tried it yet but I also haven't got a 'Unisync' - they are a bit pricey here !
