Has anyone had any experience with the Fuel injection systems used on the new (old) aircooled mexican beetles? There is a '98 model mexican beetle for sale close to my house. I went today and looked at it, drive it. I was VERY suprised at how the car drove and how smooth it accellerated all though the rpm range. I even put it down in 1st started rolling and the floored the pedal. It came out of it amazeningly well. I loved the smothness of this engine but I don't have the money to buy this car right now. Has anyone ever put that FI system on a type III?
