thanks for your imput! I am trying to get a real answer on this "muffler
thing". Living in the Cottonwood Arizona area I too care about performance
on mountain roads. I can tell you that I do plan to put my stock system back
on the car. I am almost sure that the 4 tip is causing me some problems on
the low end with vibration. I think that the message from Bob Diefendorf
supports your argument as well, that you would sacrifice performance on the
low end while maybe gaining some on the upper end. I guess it is all in what
you are looking for. So you and your boys of the Flat Four Fetish (I
believe that's your group?) are strong believers in stock muffler setup for
stock engines for the best match. Any more feedback would be great. Hey what
are you guys up to these days, any shows or such coming up?
