Oh yes it does, you just aren't looking in all the right places.  Wheel wells,
under the carpet (particularly the rear passenger areea), under the back seat
(especially under the battery), under the very rear lip of the cargo area
where the carpet tucks in, under the trunk liner that covers the fresh air
plenum, inside the headlight buckets, and others can name more.
