Ok Jim and everyone in type 3 land.

70 Auto FI square - What's Going On.

You have read the posts in the past with my car and you all have
been
so very helpful with my car's problems. Help me put this puzzle
together!

Engine Rebuilt 1 year ago.

Had a problem with getting bogged down after Highway run and
sitting
at a light Ð still I have this problem. Some recommended that my
temp
sensor is faulty and I am getting too lean

Had a hesitation problem as you just start to accelerate from a
standing start Ð Vacume advance checks out ok Ð fixed it with an
adjustment to the pressure sensor I know Taboo but hey it worked
and
solved the problem.

Now I try and fix an intermittent missing that developed after running
injector cleaner though my system Ð pulled the injectors to blow out,
Runs much better does not act the same. Changed the exhaust
system to
a 4 tip empi for the summer.

Current Running Condition Ð Vibration Vibration - changes with
RPM &
Load - Goes away most while over 50 mph - Went on a 20 mile
hwy run
and that bogged down, "slug at the light" came back Ð Still have a
Vibration. Seems to have power while running ÐÊnot completely
missing
a cylinder or the like.

Some more puzzle pieces Ð
Checked the Voltage at the batter = 13.15 at idle, Fast Idle about
    14.3
- Changed the voltage regulator 6 months ago No not a genuine
Bosh but
not a cheap one either - got from an alternator/electric place.

Noticed that I have 2 different Injector styles two with a yellow
    tip,
two with a black tip - Placed one of each in each intake side - did a
flow test with vials - all measured the same amount during a 20
second
period.

Timing has been set to a slight advance - always has to help
    offset the
original hesitation. The rebuilt engine was bored at the ever so
slightly larger size - told I would see a tad bit of more power on the
Hwy. (don't remember the size)

So guys - All you experts - Anyone - I am tired of a years worth
    of this
that and another. What is up with my car? Is it the pressure
sensor?
what, I just want to enjoy the car. I feel like crossing over to carbs
- it's that bad! Help me. I don't have anybody that I know who knows
the FI system enough to like it, let alone knows how to really tweak
it. I have heard of a dealer up in Flagstaff AZ that has the old check
system and a mech that knows how to run it, looked into it about 2
years ago. I am a very capable mechanic on my own but I feel as
though
I am chasing a ghost.

HELP Me get this straightened out once and for all - I'm At you
mercy.
Besides I know you would all like to get me off your list once and for
all as well.

Chris Picknally, Cottonwood AZ
