The under-dash relay will only click if the back seat relay is okay, so we know the back seat relay is good. > To restate the problem > It won't start but it turns over fine. > > I have the initial running of the fuel pump when I turn it on. You could try a C as a test, but I wouldn't leave it in there. > Any other ideas? In general, check carefully for any broken wires. Especially FI wires in the engine compartment, especially around where you might have been working. BTW, what WERE you doing just before things failed? Get an analog voltmeter and someone to turn the key for you. Carefully pull out the FI plug on the side of the dist. Connect the VOM between the center pin on the dist and either side pin. Have your helper crank the engine while you watch the VOM. The needle should move between 0 and infinity as the engine turns. Stop the engine and check center pin to the other side pin. Do the same test on that side. If the dist fails either test, pull it out and remove and clean the trigger points. DO NOT FILE them. Just clean them off and drag a clean piece of paper between the points. Verify that you can get the VOM reading to go from 0 to infinity by manually opening the points. Assemble the dist. Verify again while turning the dist by hand.
