Tim, my webers have a balance pipe (rubber hose) between the carbs. I'm also running a 009 distributor. I think I'm timed straight up @ 0 ( but it's been awhile). The best way to check it is with one of those timing lights with a knob that allows you to check the advance, but I don't have one of those, so I check it by ear .
