Could this > slight increase in power cause heat problems? Fuel pressure should not change, but you should ALWAYS do frequent valve clearance checks after a rebuild. There is almost always some break-in which will close up this clearance, and this is a critical adjustment. I would typically do a valve check after the first engine run, again after 100-300 miles, and then another at 1000-1500 miles.
