[T3] Brake/Generator Lights

I have a 72' Squareback in average condition.  But, several days ago The 
generator and brake light came on at the same time.  It has not gone out 
yet.  We have bled the brakes beacuse of the installation of new brake pads. 
 There is a possibility of a short somewhere, but the brakes have locked up 
when they are pressed on hard.  Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?
