Okay, I'm thinking rebuild is probably not an option because I'm sure the
rust is too deep and I doubt I could find a rebuild kit. (liability)  But I
haven't taken it apart yet so I could be wrong.  In any case, how do I tell
what kind of MS I have?  It dosen't look like the one in the Haynes
manual(p.139), and I can't find a part number on it, just the number "23" on
the side, if that means anything. So how do I tell in order to get a new one
or a rebuild kit?  Where is the cheapest place?  No, it is not leaking, in
fact they are unbelievealy touchy and hard.

One more thing:  what do you all reccommend for sticking lifters?  would a
multi-weight oil with detergent do it over time? some additive?
