Look under the back seat and find the identical looking relay there. 
Make sure the mounting screw for that relay is tight; it holds the 
ground wire for that relay, which supplies the entire FI system, 
including the pump relay. Check all the wires around both relays. If 
you have a spare relay now, try a different relay in the main power 
position.

Another connection to check would be the wire to the pump relay 
that is in the engine compartment. It is an in-line connector against 
the front bulkhead just to the left of center; there is usually a tie-
wrap around it. Make sure that it is properly connected.

The pump relay should not click except when you turn the key ON 
(or again ~1 sec later if you don't start the car.

May be related. Find the cause and fix the clicking first. Then see if 
the other problem has gone away.
