Re: [T3] Shorter axles??
There is more to your question than tire size. I run 195/65/15s on my
short axle Notch, but, with the wheel offset I have, I had to add
spacers to keep from rubbing on the inside of the wheel. Even with the
spacers, I have an inch left to the fender lip. With my old EMPI 8
spoke wheels and short axles, I could barely fit my 165R15s under the
rear of the car. SO, you need to some trial and error. THe local
shops, here at least, will usually let you try some fitting if they
know that you will buy the tires from them.
