[T3] Front Seat Bolts (Not a response to Jim)

For some reason the pivot bolt of the inner passenger side seat in my 363
came out this morning when someone sat down in it.  I found the bolt, but I
dont know where the nut went (dont know if there was one at all, and
probably my reason).  Anyway, I cant seem to get the dang thing back into
the seat, I know that the seat back must cover that metal piece that
swivels, and that the lower holes in them must line up.  I have gotten that
far, but I cant get the bolt back into the connector for the seat bottom.
Do i force it or screw it?  Is there a little trick to make it go in easy?
I dont want to break it...so help would be appreciated.
