I find myself wondering how "official" some of these letter 
designations are. They seem to me to just be market specific 
option variations. While the N may have been sold as such in 
Germany, or elsewhere, I don't remember seeing N mentioned in 
the microfilm. Perhaps it is there, or perhaps it was in earlier 
literature that I don't have, but I think it is important to separate 
factory designations under which they were made from marketing 
designations which were there only for the convenience of the 
dealers in a given market
