Left hand stalk is turn signal lever / flasher and 72-on has the
wiper/washer arm on the right of the column/boss.  I can't imagine they
reverse that on LHD.
Intermittent wipe on my 73 is downwards on the right lever (just thought I'd
slip that in to get the attention of those who've joined recently!).
