[T3] Vintage license plates

Does anyone know of a source for Vintage Texas license plates? I need to buy 
some sets of plates for the following vintage cars:

1949  (1949 Hebmuller)
1955  (1955 Oval window)
1957  (1957 Oval window)
1963  (1963 23-window bus)
1964  (1964 Type 34)
1965  (1965 Type 34)
1971 (1971 Type 3 pickup)
1973  (1973 Type 181 Thing)
1974  (1974 Super Beetle)

I'm not sure when license plates went to black one year and white the next. 
And, I'm 
not sure when we quit specifying the date of plates. I wouldn't want plates 
that don't have the specific year denoted.

So far, I've tried this with the 1955 and 1963 plates. I was not satisfied 
with the job done on either of these sets of plates. Therefore, I'd be 
looking for decent plates, not
too bent up and not rusted out. I plan to get them repainted, but I don't 
want to fool with straightening them out. Nor do I want plates that are so 
badly rusted that they can't be restored without the edges endangering your 
hands.
