Interesting. I drove quite a bit in Japan, where they also drive on the 
left. Japanese cars (in Japan) mirror everything. So the signals are 
on the right and the wipers are on the left. Driving around Japan you 
can always tell the American drivers by the windshield wipers that 
always come on just before a turn. Likewise, once back here, I was 
making the same mistake in my VW for a few weeks. ;-)
